C. Edward Yee, M.D.
Dr. Yee graduated cum laude from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb., and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He took a fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans. As an elected fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Yee is one of the few LASIK surgeons in the country to receive his LASIK training through a formal, one-year university fellowship.
Before embarking on his medical career, Dr. Yee earned a bachelor of science degree from National Taiwan University and completed graduate work in clinical chemistry at University of California San Francisco. He received a master's degree in chemistry from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Yee performs many forms of corneal transplantation, including full-thickness corneal transplants and partial-thickness Descemet's Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSEK). He specializes in no-stitch refractive cataract surgery with toric and multifocal intraocular lenses.
Dr. Yee's surgical expertise includes laser vision correction with custom LASIK and PRK. His specialized skills in cornea and refractive surgery complement our dedication to providing our patients with the highest quality and most comprehensive eye care available.
